Pitch: BIG MAN Strong. Quick-thinking. Determined. Sober. Greyson Holmes is none of these. In fact, he's a terrible shot, drinks to much, smokes to much--and half the time, his jobs end in explosions. And not intentionally. But, for some reason, despite all his blunders, he manages to do the job. Of course, most of the time it's his loyal friends helping him out, but hey, he's no Sherlock. He's a PI in a wizard-infested, gun-toting, and alien-diverse New York, where the octopus guy living down the street is just as likely to eat your hand as he is to shake it. A pulpy, noir art style, harkening back to the days of detective comics, Big Man is a humorous view of the "gumshoe" stereotype. Plenty of snappy dialogue, action, and a hero who doesn't even know the meaning of the word; this is a detective story for the ages. Solving cases, willing or not, that's Greyson Holmes. Truly a Big Man. |
